Recycling Bins

For the last few months, we have collaborated with the parents of K1 and K2. Together we have managed to gather a lot of recyclable materials, which we have used for various different projects.

This project saw us make two recycling bins, one for plastic and one for paper. Both kindergarten classes helped construct the bins out of cleaned plastic bottles, old toilet rolls and used newspapers.

The children and teachers at Greenland are now able to use these bins to collect recyclable items. The children have been amazed at just how many bottles we have managed to accumulate since the start of our SSDB initiative.
