Understanding impairments

Throughout our SSDB project, ‘Our Family, Our Community’, we have taken a look a various different impairments that children and adults within our community may have.

The children took part in different activities that led them to gain a deeper insight into what it would be like to have an impairment and how it can affect their daily lives. We also discussed ways in which we can make everyone feel included within our community and beyond.

We are really glad to see the children coming together as one and helping each other out. Well done N2, K1 and K2 class for being open minded and welcoming to others! Keep up the love.
