Parents' Day: Families as Partners in Our SSDB Journey

On 19 June 2026, parents and grandparents joined us for our Parents' Day celebration, which also served as an opportunity to introduce our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, Caring for the Elderly, to families.

Teachers shared the project's objectives, planned activities and opportunities for family involvement. Families were introduced to ways they could support their children's learning journey as they explored the importance of caring for, respecting, and appreciating the elderly in their families and community.

A key highlight of the event was the self-regulation workshop, where families gained practical strategies to support children's self-regulation skills at home.

The children also delighted their families with a confident performance. Their enthusiasm and joyful energy added a special touch to the celebration and created memorable moments for everyone present.

The strong support shown by families contributed greatly to the success of the event. Their involvement reinforced the importance of working together to support children's learning and development.

As we embark on this SSDB journey, we look forward to partnering with families and the community to provide meaningful experiences for the children. Through these experiences, we hope to nurture kindness, respect and appreciation for the elderly while strengthening connections across generations.
