Our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) adventure continues! Following our successful water conservation launch, our little eco-warriors have set their sights on another very important mission: tackling food waste!

We are excited to share that our children recently participated in "Operation Empty Plate," an interactive storytelling session designed to introduce sustainability in a fun, relatable, and age-appropriate way. Through the engaging adventures of characters Chongo and Bailey, the children explored the importance of appreciating our food and reducing wastage.

During this enriching session, our little ones focused on building three big habits through small steps:
π± Sustainability Awareness: Understanding why we should avoid food waste and learning how to develop planet-friendly habits during mealtimes.
π€ Social Skills: Practicing active listening, enthusiastic participation, and engaging in meaningful discussions with their peers about sharing and caring.
π‘ Mindful Choices: Discovering that simple, everyday actionsβlike finishing the food on our platesβcan make a massive impact on protecting our environment!
It was a wonderful morning filled with reflection, storytelling, and purposeful play. We are so proud to see our children taking these confident steps toward becoming mindful, eco-conscious global citizens who understand the value of our planet's resources.

Letβs keep working together to ensure no food goes to waste, both at school and at home! Stay tuned for more updates on our SSDB project! πβ¨
