Our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) adventure took an exciting, hands-on turn as our children and families stepped up to become Eco Food Heroes through a special 60-minute workshop led by the Rasa Project!
This immersive session was packed with sensory exploration, active learning, and meaningful family bonding as we discovered how the food on our plates connects directly to the health of our planet.
Here is how our little heroes and their families explored sustainable eating:
π± Local Herb & Veggie Discovery: Children used their senses to explore locally grown herbs and vegetables, learning about sustainable food sources right here in Singapore.
πͺ± Up-Close with Vermicomposting: The highlight of the session! Our brave learners observed live composting worms in action, discovering how nature recycles food scraps into rich, nourishing soil.
π‘ Impact of Daily Food Choices: Families reflected together on how simple, conscious eating habitsβlike choosing local produce and minimizing food wasteβcan make a huge positive impact on Earth.
A huge thank you to all the families who joined us and embraced this green learning experience together! By partnering with our community and parents, we are helping our children understand the full cycle of our food and empowering them to build sustainable habits for life.
Together, we are growing a healthier, greener futureβone meal at a time! π₯¦β€οΈ
