Throughout the month of June, our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) journey focused on a very special mission: Caring for Nature and our Environment. Our little ones spent the holidays discovering how even the smallest actions can protect our beautiful planet, officially earning their capes as Go Green Heroes!
To guide them on this green adventure, our dedicated teachers curated a series of engaging storytelling sessions and hands-on activities.
Here is how our children explored environmental conservation this month:
📚 Storytelling with a Purpose: Teachers read inspiring eco-themed books that sparked the children’s curiosity, introducing them to concepts like biodiversity, the importance of trees, and how to reduce our carbon footprint.
🌱 Loving Our Mother Earth: The children dove into creative activities focused on appreciating nature, learning firsthand how to protect plants, reducing carbon footprint by taking public transportation, and keep our surrounding spaces clean and green.
🚰 Conserving Resources: Turning off the tap when not in use, using a mug while brushing teeth, and switching off lights when leaving a room.
🍽️ Mindful Consumption: Finishing every bite on their plates to prevent food waste.
🛍️ Eco-Friendly Choices: Bringing reusable bags for shopping and choosing public transport to get around!
By learning to care for the environment today, our preschool heroes are building the foundation to become responsible, eco-conscious citizens for tomorrow. We are incredibly proud of their growing love for the natural world!
