As part of our SSDB journey and in conjunction with Earth Day, our PG–N2 children and their parents participated in the Rasa Circle Parent-and-Child Workshop, in collaboration with The Rasa Project. A total of 18 parent-child pairs took part in this meaningful learning experience.

During the workshop, children and their parents explored Singapore-grown herbs and vegetables and discovered where some of the food we eat comes from. Through hands-on experiences and conversations, families also learnt about composting, reducing food waste and making more sustainable choices in their everyday lives.

Learning alongside their parents helped children connect these ideas to practices they could continue at home. They discovered that caring for the environment can begin with simple actions, such as appreciating our food, reducing waste and making thoughtful use of resources.

Through this shared experience, children learnt that even small choices can help care for our planet. Together with their families, they took another small but meaningful step towards a greener and more sustainable future.
