As part of our SSDB journey, our K2 children and their fathers participated in the Breakfast with Dad programme, in collaboration with the Centre for Fathering. A total of 9 father-child pairs came together for a meaningful morning of bonding and shared experiences.
Fathers and children enjoyed preparing and sharing a simple breakfast together while participating in facilitated activities and conversations. Through these experiences, they had opportunities to communicate, cooperate, learn more about one another and simply enjoy spending quality time together.
The session encouraged fathers to be active and involved in their children's lives and highlighted how everyday moments, such as preparing and sharing a meal, can become meaningful opportunities to strengthen relationships.
Through this special morning, children experienced the importance of love, care and spending time together as a family, reminding us that little moments shared with the people we care about can create lasting memories.
