During our launch party, Ms Indra shared with parents her past experiences being involved in SSDB projects. Teachers shared with the children and teachers the theme for this year's project, "Tiny Seeds, Big Dreams - From Garden to Table". Teachers also shared an exciting timeline of what kind of projects the children will be engaged in for the next 5 to 6 months.
To end the launch party, children and parents had a chance to plant their own green beans and observe the growth through simple drawings and photo observations.
Children also did a simple pledge. They pledged to understand and explore more on the process from garden to table, and be proud of being tiny seeds with big dreams.
