Children learned about spinach through simple planting activity and exploring new found knowledge about spinach through educational videos and introduction.
Then, children were guided into decorating and writing lables for their plant. Next, in their small groups, children took charge during each step of the planting process.
Children get to explore more about planting through this simple hands-on activity by understanding what are the materials and resources needed for planting.
By getting the children involved, they had a better understanding of how planting and caring for a seed is important as it provides them the food that they eat at the table.
