As part of SSDB 2026 – “With Every Child, We Shape Tomorrow,” PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Punggol Shore (EY) organised an SSDB Fundraising Sales from 24–26 August 2026, 4.00pm–7.00pm.
Children across the centre created handmade crafts, with a strong emphasis on transforming recycled and reusable materials into creative and useful products. The craft initiative encouraged every child to contribute while developing creativity and an appreciation for sustainability.
Families were invited to support the meaningful cause by purchasing the children’s handmade crafts and donated preloved items, including toys, books, board games, puzzles, educational games and other children’s items.
The fundraising initiative provided an authentic opportunity for children, parents and educators to work together for the community. All proceeds from the sales were donated to Bright Hill Evergreen Home, helping children understand that their creativity and small acts of giving can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Through the experience, children developed important values of kindness, generosity, empathy, environmental responsibility and community spirit, while experiencing first-hand the joy and purpose of giving back.
