The SSDB 2026 project culminated in a meaningful visit to Bright Hill Evergreen Home, providing children with an opportunity to connect with and show appreciation towards the elderly residents. Accompanied by their parents and educators, the children presented a cheerful performance, bringing joy and creating a warm intergenerational experience.

Following the performance, the children, parents and elderly residents participated in interactive board and card games, encouraging communication, cooperation and meaningful bonding across generations. The visit also marked the conclusion of the children’s fundraising efforts, with the proceeds from the SSDB Fundraising Sales presented to Bright Hill Evergreen Home.

This finale brought together the key values nurtured throughout the SSDB journey—kindness, empathy, respect, generosity and community spirit. Through their direct interactions with the elderly, children experienced how their actions and contributions could bring happiness to others.

The visit provided a meaningful conclusion to “With Every Child, We Shape Tomorrow,” reinforcing that even at a young age, children can play an active role in caring for others and making a positive difference in their community.
