The N2, K1, and K2 children were excited to welcome the Singapore Red Cross Junior Mascot during a fun and interactive first aid session. The children listened attentively as they learned about caring for themselves and others when someone is hurt. They eagerly participated in the hands-on bandaging activities, taking turns to practise wrapping bandages on their friends and toy patients.

The children responded positively to the experience, showing curiosity and enthusiasm as they explored ways to help others. Many demonstrated kindness by checking if their partners were comfortable during the activity and encouraging one another as they practised their bandaging skills. Through discussions and role-play, the children began to understand how simple acts of care can make others feel safe and supported.

This experience enriched the children's learning about kindness, care, empathy, and social awareness by helping them recognise the feelings and needs of others. It also strengthened their understanding of community helpers and inspired them to think about how they can contribute positively to their school and home communities through acts of helpfulness and compassion.
