Throughout the month of May, the children participated in our Kindness at Home Challenge, where they practised simple acts of kindness with their families. Using their Family Kindness Journals, the children recorded meaningful experiences such as helping to tidy up, setting the table, saying “thank you,” and caring for family members.

During sharing time, the children proudly talked about the kind actions they had completed at home and reflected on how their actions helped others feel happy, cared for, and appreciated. These conversations helped the children recognise that kindness can be shown in many ways and that even small actions can make a positive difference.

We are grateful to our families for supporting the children in this journey. The Kindness at Home Challenge will continue as an ongoing project until November, encouraging children to consistently practise kindness at home, in school, and within the community. Through this shared effort, we hope to nurture caring, responsible, and compassionate individuals who understand the importance of helping others every day.
