The children brought their learning beyond the classroom by participating in a community outreach activity at Hougang Village. During the outreach, they gave out the marine-themed crafts that they had previously created to members of the community.

As they shared their handmade crafts, the children also helped to spread a simple but important message about caring for our oceans and protecting marine life. The experience gave them an opportunity to actively participate in raising awareness about marine conservation and share what they had learnt with others.

Through this meaningful outreach, the children discovered that even small actions can make a difference. By creating and giving something with a purpose, they became young advocates for the ocean and encouraged the community to play a part in keeping our seas clean and safe for marine life.
