The children took part in a meaningful art and craft activity where they created their own ocean-themed jar craftsfeaturing different sea creatures. As they worked on their creations, the children talked about the importance of keeping the ocean clean and protecting the animals that live in it. What made this activity extra meaningful was that the crafts were not just for the children to keep. They were specially prepared to be given out to members of the community during our upcoming SSDB Community Outreach at Hougang Village. Through their artwork, the children will help spread awareness about marine conservation and encourage others to play a part in caring for our oceans. This activity gave the children an opportunity to turn their learning into action by sharing an important message with the wider community.
