Our centre celebrated the SSDB Launch Party with the meaningful theme “Kind Thoughts to Kind Deeds.” The celebration was a joyful opportunity for children, parents and teachers to come together to promote kindness through fun and purposeful activities.

Prior to the celebration, the children were involved in preparing for the event. The K1 and K2 children worked together to create a beautiful banner using their handprints, symbolising teamwork, unity and kindness. Children from PG to K2 also created kindness artworks, where they expressed kind words, caring actions and positive thoughts through their drawings and craft work. These artworks were proudly displayed during the SSDB Launch Party for parents and families to view.

During the celebration, children and parents participated in various kindness-themed activities. At the Singa Puppet Station, children created their own Singa puppets with their parents and talked about how Singa reminds us to be caring, helpful and kind to others. At the Kindness Keychain Station, children and parents decorated keychains and added kind words or messages, encouraging them to reflect on simple acts of kindness.
