The Earth Day poster-making activity gave children another meaningful avenue to express the values at the heart of "Planting a SEED of Kindness," this time by raising awareness beyond their own classroom. As children thought about what the environment needed from them and put those ideas onto paper, they practised care and respect for the world around them, recognising that protecting nature is an extension of the same kindness they showed their plants and terrariums. Creating posters also encouraged a sense of responsibility, as children considered the role they could play in caring for the earth and communicating that message to others. The activity nurtured early civic awareness too, as children learned that kindness isn't only shown through individual actions, but can also be shared and spread to inspire a wider community. Through their artwork, children didn't just illustrate a message about the environment — they became young advocates for kindness, carrying the seed planted in their own learning out into the world around them.
