2026 Start Small, Dream Big : From Caring for Our Earth to Caring for Our Community

(A) June 2026 – SSDB Action and Community Engagement

As the children explored food wastage and learnt about food insecurity, they were inspired to take action through a Food Drive in partnership with The Food Bank Singapore.

Throughout the month, children from PG to K2 helped raise awareness by creating posters and invitations, explored food donations through creative activities using recycled packaging materials, and prepared baked goods for the Food Drive. Through these experiences, they developed a deeper understanding of food sustainability while demonstrating teamwork, responsibility and a commitment to helping others. Week 1: Raising Awareness
