National Library Board (NLB)

The National Library and Archives Board (NLB) enriches lives and builds learning communities by making knowledge accessible, inspiring discovery, and fostering lifelong learning. As part of NLB, the Early Literacy team lays the foundation for children’s reading journey by promoting language and literacy development from the early years. Through engaging programmes, curated resources, and partnerships with preschools, families, educators, and community organisations, the team fosters a love for books and reading. Through collaborations such as SSDB, the Early Literacy team empowers children to develop essential literacy skills, grow into lifelong readers, and become active contributors to their communities.
