Educating Ourselves On Personal Hygiene

Title: Eat Right, Stay Bright

Category of Project: Healthy Living and Personal Hygiene

As part of our collaboration with National Library Board (NLB), we were able to get some interesting and informative books for the children.

The book titles include, ‘Why Do I Wash My Hands’, ‘Eat Well’, ‘My Hygiene’, ‘I Keep Clean’, ‘Get Your Exercise!’, ‘Use A Tissue!’, ‘Eat Healthy Foods!’ and ‘Brush Your Teeth!’. The books helped children understand the importance of practising good personal hygiene, eating healthy food and self care. These books were read for the children by the respective class teachers. To encourage children to enjoy reading, the books were also placed in the class library for them to explore the pictures and understand the texts independently.
