After learning through the story, posters, and video, the children gathered for a KWL (Know, Want to Know, Learned) discussion. They shared what they already knew about long-tailed macaques and talked about the new things they had learned. As they reflected together, many new questions came up. The children wanted to know why macaques entered neighbourhoods, how zookeepers cared for them, what they ate in the wild, and how people could stay safe while protecting them.

The teacher encouraged the children to find answers from the experts at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Excited to learn more, the children wrote postcards to the zookeepers. They shared what they had learned about the Long-tailed Macaque and wrote down the questions they wanted the zookeepers to answer. Through this learning journey, the children discovered that asking questions is an important part of learning. They became more aware of Singapore's native wildlife and learned that everyone has a role to play in respecting and caring for the Long-tailed Macaque and its natural habitat.
