Following the Singapore Red Cross sharing, our children and families were ready to put “Humanity in Action” into practice!

Families generously contributed preloved clothes, toys, books and other useful items for our Community Flea Market held on 25 September 2026. Instead of discarding items that were still in good condition, we gave them a new purpose while supporting a meaningful cause.

With the support of volunteers from the Singapore Red Cross Society, our flea market brought children, families and educators together in the spirit of giving. The children experienced first-hand how a simple act—donating a toy, book or piece of clothing—could become part of a much bigger collective effort.

Together, our centre community raised $543, which was donated to the Singapore Red Cross Society in support of its humanitarian efforts.

The giving continued even after the flea market ended. Remaining preloved items were donated to The Salvation Army, ensuring that they could continue to benefit others while reinforcing the importance of reuse and reducing waste.

Through this experience, our children saw that everyone, no matter how young, can play a part in caring for the community.

Small acts of giving. Many helping hands. One caring community.
