🌟 The Spark: A Resounding "YES!" to Inclusion

Launch Day was defined by one powerful word: Empowerment.

After a captivating visual presentation exploring how friends navigate the world using different tools, our Kindergarteners were presented with their mission. The room instantly erupted into a thunderous, collective roar of "YES!"—an electric burst of excitement from children who couldn't wait to start the project.

By reading the 'Big Question' aloud together, the children claimed total ownership of this journey. This isn’t just a school project, it’s a meaningful mission fuelled by their own authentic curiosity and an unhesitating eagerness to embrace differences.

🗳️ Democracy in Action: The Voting Process We firmly believe that for a "Dream Big" project to succeed, it must be genuinely led by the children's voices.

The Class Chart: We created a large, colourful visual chart representing different abilities. Each child cast a personal "vote" by placing a sticker under the category they felt most called to support and explore.

🏆 The Outcome & Next Steps The votes are officially in! Driven by the children's overwhelming empathy and shared interest, our focus area for the year is: Supporting friends who cannot see well.

Moving forward, our little leaders will embark on experiential sensory activities, explore tools like Braille and white canes, and collaborate with a community partner to make a real difference!

✍️ Teacher's Reflection The true success of our launch party was captured in the raw energy of that collective shout. The children didn’t just listen to a briefing, they actively chose their path. Our Kindergarteners proved that they are completely ready to lead this journey. They aren't just learning about inclusion, they are choosing to live it.
