This year, Small Wonder @ Ubi kicked off SSDB with the theme "Little Hands, Big Hearts" 🧡. We aim to help our PGs - K2s understand food insecurity and the privilege of daily meals, while raising funds to donate food to Food Bank Singapore. Also, they sang our in-house SSDB song with the actions.
Our launch highlights: - Children learnt about Food Bank and how they help the community - Children were introduced to our activities for the project - Bowl of Rice - Bazaar crafts - Roleplay on how to sell their crafts - Actual bazaar
To end off our launch day, children wrote kindness promises on little paper hearts which they attached to our Promise Tree.
“Little hands can do big things to help others"
