Following our previous kindness activity, “Write a Letter to Singa,” we once again had the opportunity to bring parents and children together through another meaningful kindness activity. Parents were invited to join and guide their children as they took part in three activities: T-shirt painting, making friendship bracelets, and creating appreciation letters for their teachers.
Parents and children worked together to create personalized T-shirts featuring words and messages that spread kindness and positivity. They selected their preferred stencils, iron-patch designs, and paint colors to create a unique T-shirt that reflected their creativity and their commitment to kindness. These specially designed T-shirts will be worn during the upcoming Kindness Parade, allowing our students to proudly share messages of kindness with the wider school community.
They also participated in making friendship bracelets, creating one for themselves and one for their parent. This activity was a simple way for them to show their appreciation for each other and to celebrate the special bond they share. The bracelets also reminded us that friendship is built through kindness, caring, sharing, and supporting one another.
Lastly, we had our Appreciation Wall, where parents and children wrote words of appreciation for their teachers. It was a lovely opportunity for them to express their gratitude and acknowledge the teachers who continue to guide, support, and care for their children.
Overall, it was a meaningful session where parents and children were able to spend time together while learning about kindness, appreciation, and the importance of building positive relationships with the people around us.
