For the second part of our SSDB project, the children visited Co+Nut+ink Sentosa to learn more about caring for our environment.

The children explored how coconuts can be used in different ways. They compared young and old coconuts and discovered the differences between them. They also enjoyed fresh coconut water and coconut ice cream during the workshop!

One of the highlights was creating their own coconut shell planter. They decorated the shells, filled them with soil and brought home a plant to care for. Through this hands-on activity, the children learnt how natural materials can be reused and how caring for living things is one way we can care for our environment.

Through this experience, we hope to nurture children who are caring and responsible towards the environment. By reusing materials, caring for plants and making thoughtful choices, they are taking small steps towards a greener and more sustainable future.
