SSDB 2022 "Our Grandparents Story- A photo Journal"

Back in June 2022, we launched our project for SSBD titled ‘Our Grandparents Story-A Photo Journal’ in accordance to the SSDB theme for this year “Our Family, Our Community.” Working in partnership with our parents, they shared with us funny stories about their parents, stories about the important things that they have done and the great times they have had growing up under them.
Using the information collected, Our N2 to K2 children of Kiddiwinkie Upper Bukit Timah embarked on this journaling project for a week where they did a scrapbook from scratch where they filled their scrapbook with their grandparents’ photos, illustrations as well as interesting stories about their grandparents.
After completing their scrapbook, the children had a sharing session where they were invited to share about their grandparent’s story to their classmates.
After which, children were encouraged to present their journal personally to their grandparents if their grandparents are in Singapore or they can also share their Journal with their grandparents via telecommunications.
