Making Room for Bloom

On the 26 June 2023, we launched our project for SSBD titled “ Making Room for Bloom” in accordance to the SSDB theme for this year “Gardening.” Working in partnership with NParks, the children were introduced to methods of caring for the garden by pulling weeds, planting different seeds, watering the plants and showing love to the school garden.

Using the information learnt, our N2 to K2 children of Kiddiwinkie Upper Bukit Timah embarked on this project over the course of a week and even extending their project by bringing home the seeds they planted.

The children are continuing to track the progress of their garden and what they planted daily, continuing to show care for the garden.
