SSDB 2021 - Intergeneration

The K1 children shared and discussed about the difficulties faced by an elderly and ways to show kindness and respect towards them. Through a mind-map, children enumerated ways to show care and love towards the elderly such as helping in household chores, spending quality time by reading and playing board games and walking around the neighbourhood as an exercise. With these suggestions, children went back home and did those suggested activities with their grandparents. Some children made a long distance bonding time with their grandparents as they read books to them via video call. It was indeed a fruitful bonding session with the grandparents.
