Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) is an initiative by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). It encourages preschoolers to innovate and give back to society. The 2026 movement centers around the theme, "With Every Child, We Shape Tomorrow". Marymount Preschool embarked on our SSDB 2026 project with the theme on the Bible Verse – “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7) A Soft launch was carried out during our school’s June Holiday when the children revisited Memory Verses/Stories/Songs we had been sharing with them during our daily assemblies since the beginning of the year. We focused on three Fruits of the Spirit – Love, Kindness, and Goodness. Thereafter, the teachers conducted Weekly Social Emotional Lessons to inspire children with the virtue of giving.
