One day, the K2 children became little habitat builders! As part of the NAC-AEP activity, they worked together to create a special home for animals using recyclable materials.

With cardboard boxes, colored papers, plastics, and other recycled items, the children shared their ideas and began building. Some created shelters, while others added trees, plants, and spaces for the animals to live. They enjoyed cutting, sticking, arranging, and decorating their habitats.

As they worked together, the children discovered that materials we often throw away can be reused to create something new and meaningful. Through their creativity and teamwork, the K2 children built habitats while learning how we can care for animals and protect our environment.

As part of our sustainability journey, the children participated in the NAC-AEP programme, “Build the Habitat.” This programme was sponsored by NAC-AEP. Through this hands-on experience, the children explored different animal habitats and created their own using recyclable materials.

As they planned and built their habitats, the children discovered how everyday materials can be reused and given a new purpose, while expressing their ideas creatively through art.

The experience also encouraged the children to think about the environments that animals live in and how we can play a part in caring for both animals and their habitats.
