We are pleased to share highlights from our recent Little Builders Activity, as part of our SSDB project on marine conservation.

The children began by watching engaging videos on different ocean cleaning devices. This helped them understand how technology can be used to remove waste and protect marine life.

Inspired by what they learned, the children then took part in a hands-on STEM activity where they designed and built their own ocean cleaning machines using various materials. They explored their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork as they constructed their models.

To conclude the activity, the children participated in a Show and Tell session, where they proudly presented their creations and explained how their machines would help clean the ocean. This provided a wonderful opportunity for them to develop their confidence and communication skills.

Through this activity, the children gained a deeper understanding of how we can play a role in protecting our oceans.
