As part of our "Let's Talk Values" activity, the children from Nursery 2 (N2), Kindergarten 1 (K1), and Kindergarten 2 (K2) participated in meaningful classroom discussions about the core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Care. Through age-appropriate conversations, stories, and guided questions, the children explored what these values mean and how they can practice them in their everyday lives. The activity provided a safe and welcoming environment where every child was encouraged to express their thoughts and ideas.
During the discussions, the children shared their personal experiences of showing respect to their teachers, classmates, and family members. They also talked about being responsible by completing simple tasks, following classroom rules, taking care of their belongings, and helping with chores at home. Many students proudly shared acts of kindness and care, such as comforting a friend, sharing toys, and looking after the classroom environment. Their stories reflected a growing understanding of how these values positively influence their relationships and daily actions.
The "Let's Talk Values" activity was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen character development while building confidence in speaking and listening. By reflecting on their own experiences and learning from one another, the children gained a deeper appreciation of the importance of living out the values of Respect, Responsibility, and Care each day. We are proud of our young learners for their thoughtful participation and look forward to seeing them continue to demonstrate these values both in school and at home.
