As part of NParks’ Biodiversity Week for Schools, the children used their foldable paper binoculars to explore the school and nearby park, observing various flora and fauna such as birds, butterflies, insects, and plants. The activity aimed to raise awareness of local biodiversity, teach basic wildlife observation skills, and encourage children to connect with nature while developing care and respect for the environment. Through this hands-on exploration, the children developed curiosity, observation skills, and an appreciation for Singapore’s natural heritage.
