Beach Cleanup and Father’s Day Celebration

On 14 June 2019, our center collaborated with the organization “Clean and Green Singapore” by taking part in a beach cleanup to understand the importance of taking ownership of the cleanliness of our environment. As Father’s Day was around the corner, we invited all the fathers to join us in this activity for a bonding session with their children.

The day started off with children making sandwiches and packing healthy snacks for a picnic at the beach after the cleanup activity.

We arrived at the beach in the late afternoon and started cleaning up the beach using gloves and tongs.

After the clean up, we had quick bites at the shelter area due to the sudden downpour. Despite the rain, we had a great time playing our part in keeping the beach clean.

We would like to wish all fathers a “Happy Father’s Day” and extend our thanks to those who came to play their part in keeping the Earth clean.
