ZeroWaste SG Session 1: DIY Eco Cleaner

As part of our SSDB project, we partnered with Zero Waste SG and began our ZeroWaste Explorers journey by learning about the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The children explored what happens to the waste we throw away in Singapore and learned how waste is managed and sent to the landfill. They also discovered why it is important to reduce food waste and discussed simple ways to make better use of food scraps. During the session, the children learned how orange and lemon peels can be given a new purpose by turning them into a DIY Eco-Cleaner, making the learning fun and meaningful.
