YWCA Bishan Go Green! it's for you, it's for me! - Public awareness series

The second part of the series for the “Caring for our Environment” project would require children to create a brochure and distribute it to create awareness.

Children are encouraged to design and draw on the leaflet. We discuss and brainstorm the ideas about leaflet design and the wording to put in it.

They practice to speak out in the classroom what are the message they want to send to the member of public.

Once everything is set, the children get ready to go out and distribute their leaflet to our neighbours.

They started to approach our neighbour’s uncle and aunt. At the same time not forgetting try to speak to public with the teacher’s guidance and encouragement.

The activity ended with a group photo taking requested by our beloved group of uncles and aunts in the park.
