During our term 3 virtual tour, the children visited the Singapore Art Museum and they were inspired by Picasso artworks. Thus, based on the children’s interests, we asked the children to make use of recyclable materials such as cardboards and cartons to create their Picasso artworks. The children collaborate with their friends to think of ideas how they would like to design their Picasso artworks. Through this extended activity, the children learnt that cardboards and cartons can be recycled into beautiful artworks! At the end of the day, the children were proud to display their artworks outside the school for the public to see how they transform recyclable materials into nice art pieces!
