The Heart of Generations - Intergenerational Programme 2026

K1 children were excited to visit the seniors at SparkleCare. They greeted everyone warmly before enjoying a fun karaoke session, singing songs together in different languages including You Are My Sunshine, 甜蜜蜜 (Tian Mi Mi) and Rasa Sayang. Laughter and smiles filled the room as children and seniors clapped and sang along.

Next, each child partnered with a senior to create a colourful "Heart of Memories" photo frame. The children helped peel the stickers while the seniors decorated the frames, creating special memories together.

To show their appreciation, the children presented every senior with a care pack containing a hand made card, wet wipes, tissue paper, medicated oil and a reusable bag. Everyone also celebrated the July birthday babies by singing "Happy Birthday" together.

The visit ended with happy hearts as the children learnt that kindness, respect and spending time together can bring joy across generations.
