πŸš€ Launch Day: 8 May 2026 K1 Confidence and K2 Creativity came together to celebrate the launch of our Start Small Dream Big Project 2026: From Garden to Table.

Project aimed at promoting the importance on Food Security and Food Safety.

This project was in collaboration with Singapore Food Agency.

πŸ₯™ Introduction + Singapore Food Agency Talk: 10 June 2026 A representative from Singapore Food Agency came down and provided a talk.

The talk comprised of what we can look out for when grocery shopping and how we can ensure that we are mindful of the food that we purchase and consume.

By the end of the talk, children were better equipped with the knowledge on Food Safety and Food Security.

🌿 Field trip to Kok Fah Technology Farm: 16 June 2026 Children had the opportunity to engage in a Basil to Bowl experience with Kok Fah Technology Farm - harvested basil leaves from the farm’s garden, mixed and blended ingredients together to create their very own Pesto sauce!

Being involved in the process of creating their own sauce provided them with a sense of wonderment - it is that simple to grow, harvest and prepare their own meals.

All it takes is a little bit of patience and the right attitude!

πŸͺ΄ From Garden to Table: 9 July 2026 Harvesting day has arrived!

We went to harvest our Sweet Potato leaves and sought the help of Aunty Rachel, where she made Soy Garlic Sweet Potato to be eaten together with our Mee Hoon and Fish Soup.

The entire process was an exciting and memorable one as our children got to eat what they have planted!

To end of, the past 3 months has been an insightful and fun learning experience for the children as they were able to relate back to what was done during the project duration and what they are currently doing.

They are constantly asking to go to the Garden of Love to see their plants and whether or not it is ready to be harvested.

Working together with Singapore Food Agency has also brought a whole new meaning to food, food safety and food security to the children - they are constantly pointing out the So Good Fresh logo whenever they come across one!
