We kickstarted our SSDB project, Small Hands Big Hearts Kindness Movement with an interactive puppet show by Singapore Kindness Movement.
The children wanted to show their appreciation to the community helpers. As a class, they have decided to put together a card and a care hamper for the cleaners who have been keeping the neighbourhood clean. The children designed the wrapping paper for the hamper and made a “Thank You” card.
After designing the wrapping paper, the children started packing the care package for the uncles!
We then waited for the uncles to arrive at our school after doing their usual morning rounds around the estate.
Yay! The uncles came and we handed our care hampers and “Thank You” cards to them!
At the end of this project, we learnt the importance of being kind and how our small act of kindness could leave an impact on the people around us.
