SSDB: Understanding The Value of Seeds

To help children fully grasp the concept of abundance, it was important for them to experience the purpose behind collecting and sharing seeds. As part of the project, they planted their own seeds and observed the growth process. Through this hands-on experience, children discovered the potential that a single seed holds and developed a deeper appreciation for why they were contributing seeds to others.

(The different classes continuously planted seeds as the children’s interest arised. This gave the children the opportunity to concurrently observe different stages of plant growth.)
