SSDB-START 2018 - Project Elephant @ Blossom

My First Skool Jurong West Centre 11 launched our first SSDB Project on the 11th April 2018. Our centre’s project is to create an awareness of animal abuse particularly the elephant. The Nursery children are involved in this project.

Prior to the launch, the children brainstormed about the animals those are endangered and needed  protection. The children showed interest in the elephant. That’s how our project started.

Before the launch,  children created elephant models with modelling clay. They also created a diorama with some recycled materials.

During the launch party, children ‘brought’ their elephant to the ‘habitat’. They also made their pledge cards with their parents and pledged to protect the elephant.
