SSDB PHASE 1: “Re-Play” Soft launch
On 5th May 2023, we organised a soft launch of the Start Small Dream Big project called “Re-Play” . During the soft launch, the centre started of with discussion with the Nursery 2, about children from Guatemala, whom are less fortunate and how their lives are affected with limited food, toys and clothing.
Children then, designed their pledge cards on the importance of sharing and ways to help others by donating toys, food, clothing etc.
We collaborated with the community partner, “Kindred”, to embark on our SSDB project “Re-Play”. The aim of the project was to instill in children the spirit of giving and good values such as care for others, kindness and compassion.
The teachers and children were excited to embark on the project.
We started off by designing drop-off boxes, SSDB mascot standees , hanging up of SSDB banners as well as designing posters and flyers to share with parents and residents on the donation drive for toys and books.
