SSDB LAUNCH PARTY 2024

On 19 April, Little Olive Tree had our official launch party for the K1 and K2 children. We did a series of activities.

Children were briefed about the project so that they are aware of how they can reach out to show care for their friends & families and even the community at large.

We introduced the idea of Ambassador of care. We want to give children the autonomy and recognition to be good stewards of care & love. In this ceremony, we presented the children with the SSDB hat to signify their official appointment.

The ceremony ended with an SSDB song & dance. The Ceremony might have ended but the activities continued. The children continued to make their own heart-shaped medal. This special heart-shaped medal is not an ordinary medal. It is a medal for the children to collect as many stars as possible. When they are seen doing kind acts helping others, a star will be pasted on the medal.

To provide children with a holistic experience and to tap on support from parents, we have also designed a take-home activity. Through a simple activity like this, we hope to raise children’s awareness of simple things they can do to create a positive impact on others.
