SSDB Launch Party

The Nursery 1 children kicked off their Start Small Dream Big journey by sharing something very close to their hearts — their families. Each child had shared a family photo and took turns showing and talking about the special people in the picture.

They confidently pointed out their mummies, daddies, siblings, and grandparents, proudly introducing each loved one. Some children shared little stories, while others smiled brightly just seeing their family members in the photo.

This meaningful activity helped them:

• Build confidence in speaking in front of their peers

• Develop emotional connections by talking about people they love

• Recognise the importance of family as their first community of care

It was a heartwarming way to begin our theme “Kind Hearts, Strong Bonds” — reminding us that even the smallest voices can express the biggest love.
