SSDB 2026 Launch Party – Tiny Gardeners, Big Dreams

As part of our participation in the Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) 2026 initiative, Nobleland Bishan launched our project, “Tiny Gardeners, Big Dreams,” to inspire children to care for nature and understand that small actions can create a positive impact on the community and environment.

In preparation for the launch, children and families worked together to collect recycled plastic bottles, which were used as planting pots during the event. Parents were invited to our school for an introduction to SSDB 2026, where we shared the purpose of the initiative and our school’s gardening project.

We were honoured to collaborate with Ms Felicia, an NParks CIB Ambassador, who guided parents and children through a hands-on gardening session. Families learnt the proper techniques for transferring existing plants from our school garden into the recycled plastic bottles to help the plants continue to grow and thrive.

The launch party provided a meaningful opportunity for parents and children to work together, strengthen family involvement, and contribute to creating a greener school environment. Through this experience, children began their journey of learning responsibility, appreciating nature, and understanding that even the smallest actions can make a big difference.
