SSDB 2026- Inspiring Heroes Across Generations: Flower Arrangement with the Seniors!

Our N2, K1 and K2 had a wonderful and heartwarming time welcoming the seniors from NTUC Health Senior Daycare Centre at Kampung Admiralty into our school for a special flower arrangement session! This meaningful intergenerational activity beautifully brought to life our school’s core value of nurturing Empathic Thinkers.

The room was filled with smiles and gentle conversations as our children paired up with the seniors. Working hand-in-hand, the children demonstrated immense care, patience, and empathy—attentively listening to the seniors' guidance, sharing the brightly colored blooms, and helping to trim and place each stalk into lovely arrangements. Through this shared creative experience, our young learners discovered that language and age barriers fade away when we communicate with kindness and a warm heart.

By stepping forward to connect with the silver generation, our children showed that they are true Inspiring Heroes who can bring joy and comfort to others. We are incredibly proud of our little heroes for proving that no one is too small to make a big, beautiful difference in our community!
