SSDB 2024 Part 1: Food Donation Drive with Al-Mukminin Kindergarten

This year, the theme for SSDB is “Doing Good Together: Celebrating 10 years of Start Small Dream Big”. It focuses on the importance of preschool-families-community collaborations.
PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Yuhua Blk 264 collaborated with Al-Mukminin Kindergarten to organise a food donation drive to help the less fortunate.
Over the course of 2 weeks, many non-perishable food items such as canned food and dried food were contributed by our students’ families.
On 29th July 2024, the K1 and K2 children walked to Al-Mukminin Community Pantry to deliver the food items. Through this meaningful experience, we hope to inculcate some values such as compassion and kindness to the children.
